Every person in the room has an interest in the outcome. The executive team is invested in the direction they proposed. The investor is invested in the sale. The board is watching how you handle it. The consultant leaves when the report is delivered and you are left holding the decision, alone, in a role where uncertainty is expensive to display. 

I hold a small number of standing relationships with people in exactly that position.

Not a coaching programme. Not a development plan. A single, regular conversation with someone experienced enough to be useful, and independent enough to say the thing your team cannot afford to.

HOW IT WORKS

 

   One conversation a month

Held monthly.  You bring whatever is actually on your desk:  the decision that has not been resolved, the paper you're not ready to take to the board, the thing you've not said to anybody.

   A fixed monthly fee

No scoping, no proposals, no variation. You know what it costs, and you never have to negotiate it again.

 

   Nothing between sessions

No reading, no homework, no correspondence to keep up with. This reduces your load; it does not add to it.

 

   Complete confidentiality

Nothing said is repeated, recorded, reported, or referenced anywhere.

AN APPROACH GROUNDED IN EXPERIENCE

Working with boards and senior leaders. 

I work with boards and senior leaders at moments where the stakes are high and the right path is not immediately obvious. These are situations that call for judgment, not templates, and for thinking space that is rigorous, confidential, and grounded in real-world context.

The work draws on experience across governance, leadership, and complex decision-making. The aim is not to tell leaders what to do, but to help them see the situation clearly enough to make their own decisions with confidence.
